Hi, I’m Andrew Yoder, and for the past 14 years, my wife Annette and I have been building a life together with our four amazing kids, who range in age from 4-10. As a family, we love spending time together, playing games, and enjoying the outdoors—especially when I get the chance to go for a run or tinker with cars.

Before becoming a financial coach, I spent part of my career in ministry as a pastor, which gave me a deep understanding of the importance of generational life change. During that time, I also discovered my passion for coaching and counseling people through life’s challenges. While I’m not a licensed counselor, my years in ministry allowed me to help many individuals and families work through their struggles, especially when it came to finances.

You see, I thought I had a good handle on money—but that wasn't the case. My wife and I were not intentional about our finances. I’d constantly ask her, “Do we have enough money for this? We had no plan for our money and it showed. The real wake-up call came when I’d be too scared to even open my credit card bill.  That was a moment of reckoning that I’ll never forget.

It wasn’t until someone in a group I was leading at church mentioned Dave Ramsey and loaned us The Total Money Makeover that everything started to change. I’ll be honest—I didn’t think our financial situation was that bad, but my wife wisely insisted we read the book. And that’s where the transformation began.

Implementing the strategies in that book not only changed our finances, but it changed every area of my life—my marriage, my relationship with our kids, and most importantly, my relationship with God. It was a true generational shift that I’m passionate about sharing with others.
